Roush Yates Engines and NASCAR

Roush Yates Engines in partnership with Ford Performance: design, develop and test the Ford FR9 V8 engine in Roush Yates Engines’ state-of-the-art facilities located in Mooresville, NC.  Here a dedicated team of engineers, technicians, and fabricators work together to build the most powerful and reliable engines for our NASCAR customers. An estimated 40% of the engine components are expertly manufactured in house at Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions facility.

In the 2016 season, Roush Yates Engines will be the exclusive engine manufacturer for Ford Performance and will support a combined 17 NASCAR Sprint Cup, Xfinity and Camping World Truck race teams. Over a 40 week period more than 1,000 engines will be built to support in excess of 90 races.

Our mission is to provide winning engines through demonstrated power and performance.  We provide world-class technology and customer service through our dedicated engine tuners, on-site chassis dyno testing, and trackside program management.  Our highly skilled and experienced team collaborate with team owners, drivers, and crew chiefs to achieve winning results week in and week out.

As part of the NASCAR Ford FR9 V8 Engine program, engines are leased to teams competing in the Sprint Cup, Xfinity and Camping World Truck Series.  New engines are delivered to customers each week and exchanged with the previously raced engines for diagnostic testing, research and development.  This unique and fast paced approach affords us the opportunity to learn quickly how to improve each engine package and deliver the latest cutting edge technology each and every week.
